Elevated Terraced Pavilion

Elevated Terraced Pavilion

This design was intended to have little streetscape impact, employing a restrained formal language and low‑profile massing to minimise its presence within the public realm. By compressing the entry sequence, I established a deliberate sense of spatial tension that heightens the moment of release as you transition into the interior. Once past this threshold, the architecture expands along the site’s natural topography, revealing a series of interconnected volumes oriented to optimise solar access and frame long‑range views. The infinity‑edge pool becomes a key datum, extending the primary axis of the home toward the horizon, while the outdoor living terraces are strategically positioned to reinforce visual continuity between built form and landscape. Every gesture—from the controlled façade articulation to the calibrated view corridors—was designed to create a cohesive, site‑responsive architectural experience.
