Murray River Road, Talgarno
This single-storey residence is composed as a series of articulated gabled volumes, creating a rhythmic and sculptural architectural presence. The façade blends dark and natural timber cladding with expansive glazing, delivering a warm, tactile palette that balances bold geometry with visual softness.
Internally, the home is organised around open-plan living zones that flow seamlessly to the outdoor environment. Full-height sliding doors dissolve the boundary between inside and out, connecting the living, dining, and kitchen areas directly to the landscaped garden and pool terrace. Multiple outdoor seating zones and integrated lighting enhance the usability and ambiance of the external spaces, supporting both relaxation and entertaining.
The overall design reflects a considered response to lifestyle, orientation, and materiality—where spatial clarity, environmental engagement, and architectural refinement come together to create a home that feels both grounded and elevated.
