Albury Galvanizing – New Office & Warehouse, Jindera
The Albury Galvanising project comprises a new purpose-built office integrated with an attached industrial warehouse, conceived as a cohesive architectural response to function, workflow, and site context. The design prioritises clarity of operation, legibility of form, and a strong industrial identity appropriate to the client’s operations.
The office component is articulated as a distinct yet connected volume, positioned prominently to address the site entry and establish a clear public interface. Strong horizontal roof planes and expressed steel elements define the façade, creating a robust architectural language that reflects the industrial nature of the business while providing visual hierarchy and scale.
The warehouse is expressed as a simple, efficient form, allowing the office to read as the primary architectural element without compromising operational requirements. Material selection emphasises durability and low maintenance, with metal cladding, articulated shading elements, and controlled glazing responding to environmental performance and workplace comfort.
Circulation, vehicle movements, and service access have been carefully considered to separate industrial operations from staff and visitor zones, ensuring safety, efficiency, and intuitive site navigation. The result is a functional, contemporary industrial facility where architecture supports both operational performance and a strong corporate presence.
