Proposed New Mazda Showroom, Albury

The redesign of the established Mazda site in Albury presented a distinctive architectural opportunity, demanding a careful reconciliation between Mazda’s rigorous facility design standards and the city’s broader planning framework. The proposal seeks to unify the new works with the adjoining structure through a cohesive architectural language, while simultaneously enhancing site functionality, accessibility, and overall visual identity.

The design response incorporates a refined façade treatment that reflects Mazda’s contemporary brand aesthetic, employing clean lines, controlled proportions, and a considered material palette. Circulation has been strategically reconfigured to improve the movement of both vehicles and pedestrians, ensuring intuitive wayfinding and safer site operations. Glazing has been positioned to maximise natural daylight penetration while maintaining energy performance, contributing to a more comfortable and efficient internal environment.

Collectively, these interventions elevate Mazda’s presence within the precinct and contribute positively to Albury’s evolving urban fabric. The result is a highly resolved, customer‑focused environment that aligns brand expression with architectural clarity and long‑term functional performance.
